Vintage, handmade Japanese wood Kokeshi doll. This beautiful doll has been painted wearing a pink kimono with floral details red bow in her hair and holding a striped ball. She's attached to a wood platform that has a sign attached, and the wood also is marked "Made in Japan" on the bottom.
The doll has a very slight lean on her stand but that appears how the piece was originally glued.
It's a lovely collectible doll, beautifully painted with charming details and lovely craftmanship.
