Set of two vintage cast brass / bronze gorillas by Joseph Addotta. Each gorilla is signed "addotta" on the back.
Gorgeous details show off the artists exceptional skill in metalwork and lost wax casting. His talent led him to be represented in many fine galleries, museums and art exhibitions.
Dimensions: Each stands approximately 4" tall and 3 1/2" wide (These are a bit larger than the miniatures made later in his career)
Exact metal composition of each may be different as each has a slightly different patina and one weighs approximately 1 lb. and 5.1 ounces and the other weighs about 1 lb. 8.8 ounces
We've paired these together as they would make great small bookends.
