Vintage / Antique Tibetan ritual Bell
These bells were often used in Buddhist rituals for meditation. This particular bell has a lovely, soothing sound. The clapper or tongue of the bell metal and tied on with string. It's a beautiful piece with lots of history and cultural significance. The exact metal content of this bell is unknown but it is mostly likely bronze or brass. The handle and the body of the bell are two slightly different metals.
Sizing: This is a quite large bell at approximately 8 1/4" tall. The bell is 4 1/2" in diameter at the bottom
Condition: Lovely vintage condition, with beautiful patina from age.
